Oh, and while I’m complaining... your branches need cut waaaaay way back on the pix of smiling (alleged) bank members. You’re a bank. Get over yourself. Just put up a picture of a forest or an ocean view or something and call it good. The other day at the ATM the screen had a video loop of deliriously happy people leering at me while I fumbled around in my wallet for my debit card. I tapped the screen, hoping beyond hope that these monsters would be replaced with a normal, banklike login screen. No dice. Just...calm down and do your job, BECU. Nobody wants to give you a hug.

There have been quite a few complaints on these forums about BECU’s sluggish response to problems when syncing data with external budget apps (quicken, mint, YNAB, etc), and now it looks like I’m the latest. I’m sure you have some reason for requiring me to verify my identity with 2FA every time I sync data withYNAB, but you’re being overly cautious, it’s stupid, and you need to cut it out. Get your devs to figure out how to trust requests from budget apps once and then trust them until I revoke access. It’s read-only access, this shouldn’t be rocket science...
